I have brake light switch installed in the brake line of my dual reservoir MC conversion. The only issue is that the brake pedal has to be pressed in a fair amount to trigger the switch. You almost have to be slowing down before the lights come on. I would prefer the lights to come on earlier when the pedal is only slightly depressed to war drivers of my impending braking. ANy ideas as to a solution?
    Thanks,
    Paul

    Is the switch new?
I would bleed the brakes. If it doesn't improve replace the switch and bleed again. It runs off pressure.

i have a low pressure switch on mine it seems to light the brake lights quicker than the stock switch did. i got it from summit racing. go to summit and type low pressure switch in the search box a couple of different ones should come up. if i remember, i got the painless wiring one.

if any of the above suggestions don't pan out, bench test the switch with a V/M and check gradual resistance by blowing compressed air from 0 to 3 psi, 0 to 5 psi, 0 to 10 psi and so forth, it just may be the switch is lemon.
