I found these body parts and I need them (hood & fenders) ( http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/pts/2426484351.html )

They are advertised as 63 or older CJ5, I have a 59 CJ5. Can anyone help in ensuring I'm getting the right stuff prior to paying for it and dragging it to the house? My thought is that it's probably OK as they used the same hood and fenders from 1955 until 1971 but I'd like a bit more confidence on that.

Well from the one pic they look right...Just make sure the fenders are short not the longer type used from 72? up

One other thing to look for..it appears they may have been sandblasted? If so look carefully for warpage and damage

They look to me like they've been primed gray, but what Napaguy said. The grill is an early one with the clear glass marker light lenses. Also check for marker light indents on the fenders. If there are they would be '70-'71 thereabouts short or '72 and newer long fenders and not "correct" for your Jeep. The '70-'71 fenders will work though. If those are as straight and clean as they look in the pics well worth the asking price.... At least around here.

Yup - that's a good price if they are in that good of shape.

Offederd him $275 for the package, he accepted, I'm lucky and know it. Couple months ago a fellow gave me a set of four leaf springs, shackles and all (top of the line) because he went to a 2" lift. I had just broken one of the original ones a few weeks earlier.

    Thanks for the confirmation.
