Currently have a rear output Spicer PTO on the dana 18. What all is involved in removal of said unit?
Shifter removal is pretty straightforward, but what happens when I pull the bolts that hold it to the t/case?
Does it just "come off" and replace with gasket and cover, or are many various and sundry little parts gonna follow it, along with weeping and gnashing of teeth?
Without a pic I can find, I assume the T-90 output gear has a collar/coupler on it?
Plenty of info on what fits what, but I'm in the dark as to how to make it "come from together"....................

No hidden surprises- unbolt the pto, remove, install cover plate.

Also a great time to drain your tc oil and refill after you have it buttoned up as I have found a lot of metal in tc from warn pto collars.
