My jeep originally had a grader blade and trencher, which were removed before I got it. The frame is reinforced with a 3/8" plate running the full length on the outside of the frame.

There appears to be no attachment from the frame to body mounts along the frame under the driver and passenger seat.

I'm wondering if the body frame mounts were removed to attach the 3/8 plate. I see holes in the floor that appear to be where bolts could attach to the frame mount, but there is nothing underneath to bolt to.

    It is a 68 CJ5

Does anyone have a picture or drawing that shows what the standard body mounting should be?

Thanks for any help you can provide

I have a 69-5, and just walked out and looked at it. Both drivers and passenger side have a mount on the frame inline with about where your feet would be on the floorboard sitting in the jeep. My Drivers side has no other mount under the seat, The passenger side has another frame mount, which appears to be inline with about the center of the under seat toolbox. That mount on mine is not in use, but it is there.
