working on the bugs , because the body is metal and the driveshafts are metal it is causing alot of electical noise causing the servos to sslightly glitch need to isolate the reciever and the antena wire can't touch the body . I pulled the case and motor back out and put rubber beteween parts to sort of isolate the noise and it worked well .........vid soon once I hinge the hood .

Pics with the body off if possible? hellokitty

I had a similar electrical issue with my tube buggy, the motor was bumping up against the tubing when the motor torqued, just enough to cause everything to wig out.

YES!!!!!fixed the glitching , moved the reciever under the seat further from the motor, rewired the ant wire with thicker incased wire, and it does real well,,,,,next is:mount hood finish the cage ,mount new battery under the hood (I hope) refigure shocks again ,and steel armor on the rear corners and rocksliders, head /tail/rock lights, make steering wheel turn with rig and install a scantilly clad slutty Barbie.(She might have been in a horrific accident and lost both legs at the knees for her to fit in there though )

yes and no ,yes the rear axle is steerable but no I am not using it, I have the gear I need to make it rs but tring not to use it ,,,,,,,,it turns just like a d25/27.... sucks.....I agree it would turn WAY sharper but ,,,,,,,

might step up the gearing for alittle more top speed.it's pretty darn low geared

finished the roll bar and rock sliders and painted them .mounted hood on a hinge and tabs for closing and it lines up perfect,,,,,,,,, bumped the pinion up 2 teeth for more throttle and the turning really was bad so I added rear steer since my electronics had a 3rd channel and I already had everything I would need .

I don't know if you guys know how hard it is to work cleanly on something this kind of small, using my needle nose and long needles ALOT!!!!!and tring not to make a mistake drilling into the body.

I'd love to pad the seats alittle ????
    make a windshield frame
    moveable side mirror
    tranny tunnel with shifters

    still searching for headlights

That's more like it. :D It can be frustrating, little tiny screws and clumsy fingers, maybe that's just me. I had a hard time getting everything to line up on the tube buggy I built a few years ago, the little Commando I got from Wheelie is going to be even tougher because I want it to look scale.

    OK couple of questions:
    1. who is driving? a dog, goat or other forest animal?
    2. is the winch just for looks or is it a working model?
    3. are the shackles from RC4WD or did you make those?

    2. is the winch just for looks or is it a working model?-winch is off a old Wild Willy, I just rapped stripped electric wireover it ,I wanted to make my own winch with a servo but there is no more room under the hood,,,,,,, working scale Warn winch to come for Christmas or Bday they run about $50?
    3. are the shackles from RC4WD or did you make those?- rears are Tamiya, fronts are rd4wd but are going to get switched out for the Tamiyas

DONKEY is going to roll that flatty on the first obstacle, I don't think he is very good driver. Do you have a part number on the Tamiya shackles? A quick google search didn't turn up anything.
