My OD got stuck in over last weekend, no serious problem as such. I read how the forks can be alum and break so I take it out and yep, fork is in two pieces. I thinking now would be a good time to install my pto while fixing the od, but as I am looking at the old od the PO gave me with the jeep, I see they are not exactly the same. The old one has an extra gear on the rear, that I am guessing mates to the pto, but looking at the pto I think there is another gear that might be missing. Any help is appreciated.

Can you take the gear off the old and slip on the other?

Okay, upon further review I see how the OD & PTO engage. My shift fork on the PTO wasn't matched to the groove and now I can see how the two gears join together. Lookw like I just need to take gear off old OD and put on new. Sorry about the pics not coming thru, I'm still learning.
