What is the correct orientation for the twin stick rattle clips?
Also, on sealing the rear spline on the transfer case using RTV do you use curing or noncuring adhesive?

    Thanks,
    Chip.

I use curing. RTV stands for Room Temperature Vulcanizing which means it cures at room temperature. Basically all RTV is curing. There are other sealers that are non hardening but RTV is cheap and good to have around.
Most of the sticks have a small notch in them for the end of the anti-rattle clips. If yours don't, going off of memory, I believe the clips go on the left of each stick. The left clip will go between the housing and the stick with the end of the clip pushing against the stick, and the right side clip will go between the sticks with the end of the clip pushing against the right side stick. I concur. Having just done this, I remember it exactly as described above.
There should be a "notch" for the clips on the sticks....
