The clutches get galled, the side gears and spider gears get broken, and check the cross shafts closely as they can get bent. The 27 and 25 Powerlocks use the exact same clutch pack as the 30 so any Spicer dealer can get you clutch packs. Watch the thickness of the plates and make sure they are assembled in the correct order. You will want to use the steel clutch plates. Don't buy any with the the fiber friction material on them. They don't hold up very well. When you reassemble it make sure the bolt threads are absolutely clean and dry in the case and the bolts and use thread locker to retain the bolts. It's common for the bolts to work loose if not retained properly. Nickmil.
