Does anyone have some engine bay pictures of an intermediate cj5 with a chevy V8 and saginaw PS?

I am fabricating the steering in my 57 and the aftermarket tub (used) already has pedal hangers and a hole drilled for the column. The tub was an early cj version...but it looks like the PO used late cj pedal hangers and column location. I need to see how the higher column, shaft & u-joints work with a chevy V8. Fender well headers pictures with the saginaw PS would be a BIG plus.

    Thanks

I was going to give you a picture of my V-6 Chevy with PS. But I can't get a good picture. Maybe it would be better if you could give us a picture of the problem you are having.

    Thanks,
Not having a problem...trying to avoid one!
The tub is off and being rebuilt and prepped. I need to fab a new column, and not exactly sure where to penetrate the fire wall / floor panel? The column fits between the hanging pedals..so that is a fixed location, BUT what is not determined is the penetration location.

The early cj's (like the tub) went very low, and the later cj's appear to be penetrating higher in the fire wall. The early version appears to have a more radical column angle.

    Thanks

I put the GM column in the same location as the original, except I moved the base over 1". This gave me clearance for the exhaust manifold.
