Alternator swap

    Recently in Moab I had issues with my engine dying on deep water crossing. I traced it down to the alternator. I am going to replace the stock Motorola alternator with a GM unit [CS130] . I am thinking of re-locating it to a higher position such as GM uses. I know that Bulltear makes a conversion bracket.. But has anyone done this and built their own bracket.
