I need to remove my Curtiss locking hubs. They look very different than the ones shown in the photo. Mine have a knurled slotted knob on them. Are they any special procedures involved in taking them off? I tried to open the Willys tech link but I couldn't open it.

Should be able to unbolt the six bolts on the flanges and slide the outer part off. Once that is done, you will need to remove the snap-ring on the axle stub that hold the inner portion on. Easy-peasy, but a pair of snap ring pliers makes it even moreso. ;)

Thanks there's not a lot of info out there on the Cutlass hubs. Warn hubs appear to be much more common.
