new E brake install

    Ok, my 71 CJ5 did not have an emergency brake when I purchased it. I just purchased a new brake set up from Herm to go onto my Dana 18 including a new operating lever. my question is how does the lever attach to the rear cap? I have an unthreaded hole on the cap where the lever should attach. Am I missing a part that goes into that hole, or are the threads stripped out where it would be bolted in?

    There was a stud that went in the hole held in with a pin. Threaded part was outward with a castle nut and washer to adjust the tension on the arm.
