Should I get new or used?

Looking for Ford hubs for my D44 conversion. Parts stores want over 300.00 for hub/rotor assy. I can get used for about 50.00 (thats what the guy said anyway, I still have to go and get them and make sure they're the right ones with good rotors). So far it's a no brainer for me. Any risk with the used I should be aware of?

I would check the rotors for the amount of material they still have. Dial caliper is good enough. Other than that, save the money.

How much material should I look for? (I have a dial caliper)

The rotor should be stamped somewhere on the circumference with the minimum amount.

Does they are coming with the manual lock? if yes you should buy the 50$ one and if you can't use the brake portion you still have lock for spare.

If you need the minimum thickness specs should be able to get them at work tomorrow. Text me if you still need the info.
