1958 shifter

    Discovered the shifter knob on my CJ5 is not right, shows a 4 speed diagram. What the correct knob or a late 50s CJ ?

    Well, the "correct" knob, would be completely devoid of markings. My Jeep is literally buried, or I would take a pic of my original shift knob and post it.

    Ditto. No markings, round with a flattened profile, press fit on the tapered top of the shaft.

    No markings on knob. There should be a decal/sticker on the dash showing transmission and transfer case shift patterns. These were available through bearcreeksurvey.com iirc.
