The PO converted my 68' to power steering. The steering to too "quick" so the jeep is twichy on the road. I need to swap out the power box for one with a slower turning ratio. I've searched the achives but there isn't a specific mention of what makes, models and years of donor vehicles would have a slower ratio box. What should I be looking for at the junk yard?
    Thanks

i found a 4.25 lock to lock (about 17:1) in a salvage 75 cj-5 that i plan on using in my 69-5. i have heard that the boxes from the late 70's wagoneers are variable ratio. i have one but the lock to lock is 3.25 turns and i can't tell if the ratio gets larger in the middle of if it's constant since it's not installed.

others on this site are far more savvy than i am regarding this ( heck regarding most everything!!)
