Hey everyone I'm working on finishing up the world's ugliest 75 and need some help.

Anyone have pictures of the front parking lights broken down or can answer a couple q's for me?

    - Are the stock lamp housing to grill screws actually small carriage bolts since the holes are square?

    - There is supposed to be a gasket between the chrome trim ring and the grille? If so, how thick is it?

    - What kind of screws hold the lens to the housing? I can't see how they wouldn't hit the surface of the grille before they tighten up unless the gasket is fairly thick?

Also, according to the 75 FSM wiring diagram the amber front side markers aren't directly grounded - one leg connects to the parking light wire and the other to the turn signal wire? The rear side markers are shown w/ one leg directly grounded though. Is the FSM correct on this? My rear harness was butchered and I had to make a new one.

I just reinstalled mine but can't remember a lot. I'll pull one out in the morning and answer what I can for you! For now, the light housing has studs. Mine did not have a gasket between the trim and grill. The lens cover does have a thick gasket I guess to seal it.....and yes two wires, one turn the other parking.
