Brake Pads

    I have a cj5 73 with 11 inch rotors on the front. I am having a hard time finding brake pads. Everything I find is for drum. What year do I need to get.

    The '73 CJ-5 came with drum brakes. Disk brakes were not available. If you have disk brakes, whatever you have, it's been swapped in.

    First year for optional disk brakes in a CJ-5 was 1977. Without knowing more, that's a reasonable first guess.

    If not that the other common swap could be early s-10 or sidekick calipers
