You can fix that. No diamond plate.....unless you're gonna do some rock wheeling with it.

Well...I wanted to build something yesterday so I did the famous cover up.

DIY here - $40 DIY Corner Guards

I know I'm nuts...I just welded up 140 holes and now I drilled 23 more!

Ok, way better painted! Really compliments the rest of your jeep. And the shifter turned out great! You have to be smiling :)

My Push Button Starting project went great and is cool to have...Completely unnecessary but cool!

The next project I'm contemplating is a real paint job...I'm thinking:
    47v6 Orange =
    homersdog Blue = Ford SE
rejeep Blue = AMC Blue Medium Metallic
FinoCJ = Spruce Tip Green or Empire Blue?

I like orange flatties. Not crazy about it on cj5-7. Unless, of course it's the sort of darker, almost burnt orange of the early Renegades with the stripes. Really like that color on the 5 but, for me, the stripes would be a must to break it up a tad. Aside from that, I'd vote Spruce Tip.

My '71 had some kind of brownish metallic color under the black primer when I bought it. Like a medium brown. Didn't like it then but, I think I'd like it now. Just a thought.

    Some amateur grill repair.

Not sure what caused this deep gouge during the Jeep's prior ownership(s)?
