Wow, finally you guys must be thinking~ "oh, dne's never going to get another project!" lol I haven't even seen the underneath of the poor thing! Whatever it is, I'm pretty sure I can tackle it!

The little '63 Dodge Dart probably has been sitting in the lonely car parting place, just waiting, please take me! I want to live again!!! To think i was only 8 years as it was being built!

I can't get the doors completely open due to the fenders on my trailer, but in the morning I'll start gutting it!

I couldn't get the hood open at the place, and I'm sure the hood hasn't been open for some time~ but here at the house, it's new home, I finally popped it open~ and do my amazment, doesn't look too bad! I do plan to see if I can crank it for funs sake! I'll video that and figure out how to post, pass or fail!;)

There are 4 nice hub caps in the trunk! ebay?

My brother is coming over in the morning, I'd like to get the Dart up on jack stands, pull the wheels, see about getting some dirt cheap tires. Gut the interior, give it a good bath!

Funny how we start to think that way. Can't wait to see what you do to this. So many options. (y)

Looking at the back seat I am a fan of those colors/textures.

I didn't know it was at a junkyard at first, I found the ad on Facebook, eventually realized it was a place called BYOT/Waco (Bring your own tools and there are a few of the BYOT's). I can say after being there, the people were/are very friendly and made the experience "fun". They loaded the poor thing onto our new car hauler which was great! I had a bunch of 4x4 blocks to elevate it. The total price was 1600.oo, they did all the title work so I'll get the Texas title in a few weeks.;)

That was one nice thing about the GT 65-66 models were the seats~ I don't want a bench seat, I'd like it to be more like a nice sports car interior and I do want red interior, bright, cheerful, exciting!;) In my senior year in high school, I was given my grandmothers '63 Pontiac lemans, which had all red interior~ I loved that car!!(despite the rear transmission).

On FB, and here in Houston are these Chevy SS seats~ I may call to get the dimensions, may even beg the seller if I could borrow the seats, pay a fee just to borrow them, if they'd fit, I'd buy them, Kind of jumping the gun on interior, but these seats are pretty neat!

Taking a little break, the car won't roll due to the brakes are totally locked up, all of em. The tires are shot~ Just thinking to put the wheels on furniture casters to get the darned thing on my 4 post lift~ I'll be looking at that this afternoon.

This suspension will be scrap metal, there are really nice suspension kits available with rack n power

Save the hubcaps.. Have your steelies sectioned to hotrod width and out the caps back on.. Very sleeper and very cool.. I was gonna do the same with my 72 hornet before the big D lost that car forever..
