I have been forum crawling for days on this forum, Jeep Forum, and others trying to find hardware for my meyers top and doors. I really, really, really need the hinges that mount to the windshield. I have 2 pics here. If anyone has a clue where to get these parts please help me.

I'll try FnJ as Pm'd. Keep an eye out on eBay, forums, and craigslist.

Here are some pictures, they may help in your search.

Drivers side top hinge from front:

Bottom hinge (slightly offset to accomodate the thickness of door that overlaps the body):

If you don't have the trim pieces that mount to the windshield frame you will have a gap to fill somehow. Here's a picture with the gap filled with some thick weatherstripping:

You probably don't need the windshield hinges on the right if your Jeep already has a windshield mounted. I'm pretty sure the trim panels shown are for a '76 and newer Jeep, the early ones don't overlap the windshield as much. You will need the upper and lower hinges that mount to the body if you you don't have them. Do your doors still have their half the of the upper and lower hinges?

Here's a couple of pictures to compare early/intermediate windshield trim (bottom) to late windshield trim (top):

As I pm'd ya. Those blue ones are for the '76 and up windshield/JEEP model years. Notice the difference from the blue ones and the ones pictured after it. I will look for the '75 windshield mounted door brackets and the filler plates. Correct me if I am wrong, but you have the frame with the wiper on the outside correct?

I'd think so. The OP said he needed the hinges that bolt to the W/S, and the top pieces in your pic are exactly that...

I *think* it was a Meyer. Quite honestly I don't know my hardtops very well. Heh, parts of that top are now welded in the sides of the tubs on both Dad's Jeep and mine...

Mmm. The doors do not look Meyer-ish to me. Wrong glass shape, no horizontal ribs. The shape of the lid looks different too.

As far as I know the top was a Meyer that was mounted on my '67' CJ-5. That was over nine years ago. The hinges look correct to me, so, if someone wants them they are available. Tom

The top almost looks like a Kelly back end as well as the doors, but the sides look Meyers.

However, the hardware is right for the Meyers (were they the same) and bloodx needs the hardware.
