Cheap Cooler Rack

A while back I bought a 2" reciever platform for my 91 Suburban. It is 21"long and 56" wide and came with a black water proof cover that has extra storeage pockets on the side. The paltform is made out plastic type materail and has metal rods under it (claim that it will support 600 lbs).

I placed it on the rear Whheel housing of 71 cj6 and with a little trimming it fit between the stock roll bar hoops and the reciever bar fit flush with the tailgate. I had to tap on the sides a little for it to get past the brackets for the roll bar, I drilled four holes and bolted it down and then was able to place my extra tire(35x12) in front of it and had about 6 inches from the back of half cab.

I' sure this would work for a cj5 and the best part it cost me $65.00 !!!!!!!

here is a picture of the back of my cj6 with the reciever rack mounted on top off the wheel tubs. The strap holding the tire is a temp fix til I can fab a bracket

I have been trying for the last 40min to load the photo, it doesn't matter what size I make it will not load.@*#&#&@#%^@%.( yes I'm using Infranview)
