I have a 2a im working on and my idea is that since i dont have a lot of firewall to mount a power brake booster i could use a master cylinder with a bigger bore? I know it wouldnt be exactly the same but i think it could compensate for some. Does this sound correct? Or do i need to find a small brake booster. I have a 30 with disk in the front and a 44 with 11" drums in the rear. thanks

I've got discs on my 3b with the stock master cylinder so a bit bigger one would be better yet. I think you'd be fine.

A power booster increases your mechanical advantage. The larger the master cylinder bore is, the less mechanical advantage you have.

You could use one of the 7" diam hot rod boosters, or maybe a hydroboost (if you have power steering).

With a larger bore you can push more fluid though which is also an important part of the equation.
