60 over usually not a problem with the 225. Keep an eye on the temp gauge in the summer, crawling in low range etc
I've seen a few that ran a little warm under prolonged load.

Normally if you buy a reman, you get back an engine that's one size over what your core is. Your core was measured as it was broken down to go into stock, and logged as 30 over. So you get back a 60 over product. Same thing with the crank size - send in a virgin crank and you'll get back a 10-under crank in your reman.

Yes, a typical gray iron Detroit block (like the 225) should go 60 over, no problem. Unless the core shift is unusually bad. Two rebuilds, one at 30 and one at 60.

Some capitalization and punctuation in your posts will help us that have to read them. Unless you don't want them to be read.

If you don't mind my asking, what did the rebuild service cost?

Call and ask the rebuilder why they did what they did.
If you didn't tear the engine down and visually inspect before shipping it off, how do you know what condition it was in and what was needed ?
I think they just did a rebuild regardless of what was wrong and what would have fixed the problem.
Kind of a CYA for them; did you get the same block back or just a reman off their shelf ?
Too many questions and a ton of unknowns.

After the connecting rod bearing failure I noticed some scaring in that cylinder so that is why i think it was rebored and they didnt have a core they needed mine I was just asking if 60 over was normal and for the price 1900
