Ditto. I'd rather buy them once and abuse them, than buy them several times and worry about them...

  Wow. Thats a price tag.

The interesting thing was...scanning through the list I didn't see a *ton* of stuff that I don't have in one form or another.

A set of easy outs and a drill index full of quality/sharp drill bits.
    (4) tall jack stands
    Pressure washer
    First aid kit.
    Pair of mechanics type gloves.

You know I love my mechanics, but they got me in trouble last night. Was cutting motor mounts with a torch, finished the cut, turned off the torche and picked up a hammer to knock off the mount. Somehow, and I still don't know exactly how, a piece of slag about the size of a BB slipped down my glove and lodged next to my ring finger.

I have never taken a glove off so fast in my life..... ;)

I always mention to customers that they aren't welding gloves for that very reason. Seen it happen several times.

  8. Steamer

    Steamer Thick and gritty!

I can't count the number of times this thing has saved my bacon!!!

Yup, there has been many times an impact driver has kept me from breaking out the drill bits....

Remember, anyone who grinds without eyegear, if you ever have a MRI, tell the technician you probably have metal filings in your eyeballs. One spin of the magnet and good bye eyesight, just like little razors floating in there.
