Yep, sounds good to me, I also extended the spring bolt by putting a drilled out nut on the bolt. It worked fine , now I just need to wait for the 3" u-bolts to arrive.

I then spent two days cleaning up and rewiring the two tail lights.
I suppose I should look for the original Rust Intervention thread and get back to that, ....... or since it's 2024 maybe start a new one.
