Much appreciated. I'm going to do the shop vac blowing into the tail pipe technique to try to locate the leak with some soapy water.

You do realize that will be pushing air into at least one cylinder. Make sure your vacuum is REALLY clean. A new filter would probably be in order.

After reading this thread, I'm planning to put an H-pipe on my F-head. Any advice?

You'll need, of course, the second F-head to run parallel to your existing one.

You'll want a pair of turbos 1,4 2,3 then put the crossover just after the downpipes.
    Don't forget your tailpipe snorkel.

I replaced my entire exhaust system when I had my engine rebuilt. I’m running a Clifford, header, and a thrush brand muffler.

you can hear what my rig sounds like here. Keep in mind I’m in four wheel low with full chains and a plow, so I’m revving somewhat high

I did wonder about that and was thinking I'd better ask about it before giving it a go. Can soapy water on the manifold expose a leak just running the engine normally? Would have to be right after cranking to avoid evaporating instantly I assume.

Nice. Yeah I still have some of that oddfire grumble which part of me has always loved, but it's toned down enough that I don't feel like a nuisance. I'll have to get used to listening to it this way, when I had that side pipe coming out right below the driver door I could hear every little detail of how it was running and make adjustments. Now with it coming out the rear corner I can barely hear the details.

Can't think of any reason that would not work. In my experience, exhaust manifold leaks are usually more apparent when things are still cold.

A piece of hose or tubing can be used to track down an exhaust leak very precisely.

Hold one end to your ear, and use the other end to probe and explore at the engine. You will hear the leak very clearly when you get close to it.
