Hey guys, when my throwout bearing seized, it pretty much tore up the clutch fork and bearing sleeve thing.

I can't find a replacement for the bearing sleeve anywhere. Anyone know what I'm talking about or where I could get it from?

Also, does anyone know of another source besides autozone for the clutch fork? The one shown on Summit's site doesn't match, though it says it works with the 225 in the skylark.

Cool, I forgot about Krage. I'll see if they have a bearing sleeve as well.

And napa's site appeared to be down earlier, I'll check them again.

I'm not sure what you mean by bearing sleeve, all there is, is a throwout bearing and fork, a clip to hold the fork on and a ball stud for the fork to pivot on.
Are you talking about the transmission bearing retainer that the throw out bearing rides on. This is a transmission part.

this is a tube that goes through the center of the throwout bearing, and has the surfaces on it that the clutch fork pushes and pulls against.

my clutch stuff just arrived, a day early even! However, even though I ordered the pressure plate that was shown with a diaphragm, i got a 3-finger model.

so, this probably changes everything, since I don't think I can use the original bearing. Right?

The bearing I have looks identical to the one pictured in my napa link above.

Do you mean transmission input shaft bearing retainer? :?
The ring that the clutch fork goes in is part of the throwout bearing.

Usually the bearing is sold separate from the sleeve, sometimes not (as above). The bearing by itself is a lot cheaper. Check the Napa web site for '71 (or maybe other years) - I'm pretty sure I saw them there in both forms.

NAPA sells the entire bearing and sleeve for about $36.
