Figures that with me replacing the oil pan gasket that I now notice an oil leak in a different spot

What would cause a leak like this to start out of no where? I replaced the intake manifold gasket about 4 years ago and it hasn't leaked until now. I tried to tighten the bolt as well and it is tight.

I have a PCV valve in the pass. side valve cover that rattles (meaning its okay?) and a plug in the hole on the drivers side valve cover. Could excess crankcase pressure be causing this?

Yes it could. You need to replace the plug with a hose running back up to the air cleaner.

PCV is good, but you really should have a breather of sorts, also. May not be causing your oil leak....

just looked at your pic again.... Remove those inner intake manifold bolts, clean the threads with brake cleaner or carb cleaner, wet the corner of a shop rag with same, and try to clean./ dry the threads in the head... Put a dab of RTV on the end of the bolts, and put them back in............
