In dash Stereo?

    I have a 75 CJ5. Has anyone found a stereo that will fit in the dash? It looks like the space is limited. Thanks

    A conventional stereo chassis will fit behind the dash on the drivers side of the steering wheel, below the VIN sticker. This does require cutting a rather ugly hole in the dash, and puts the stereo out of reach of the pasengers, but it will fit there. That's what I did for my '75 (long ago). Today I'd be more inclined to hang it under the dash rahter than to cut holes in the dash.
