Replacement For Damaged Data Plate

    Went out to check if the VIN on the '74 CJ-5 had the color code embedded in it. I discover that the data plate (or I should say the data decal) was in bad shape. It is almost impossible to make out the VIN. How do I go about replacing the data plate so that the information is readable?

    IIRC the dash decal does not have the paint code. You want the aluminum plate riveted to the firewall next to the brake master cylinder.
