    Hey guys,

I would like to remove and replace my headers with exact replacements. I have new headers and gaskets, what is the "be sure to" list for this job?

After the exhaust, I gotta find somewhere warm to put the Kayline on, and we will be on the road.

    Thanks!

If it wont be driven I'd soak the bolts with a pentrating oil.
Seems like I almost always break one.

soak the bolts w/oil. claen the threaded holes with a tap. clean the gasket surface. install gaskets and headers. would use neversieze to make removal easier. torque bolts. run motor for 30 min to 1 hour. retorqure as needed.

...and if you start to hear the slight tick-tick-tick of an exhaust leak, stop and re-torque ASAP. It doesn't take long for a flange leak to destroy the gasket material FME.
