You might start by having someone drive alongside, and watch to see just what's shaking. Mine was just the front left, and I cured it by replacing a loose wheel bearing and adjusting toe. I didn't have quite enough toe-in, and it was usually OK to drive, but would shake like heck when flat-towed. A word about balancing mud tires: Sometimes when I've had one that seems to want a whole lot of weight in one spot, I've found it helpful to let out the air and bust the tire free, rotate the tire on the rim, and try over. It's possible to line up the heavy parts of the tire and an imperfect wheel in the same area, and make balancing really hard. If in doubt, spin the suspect wheel on the machine without the tire.

I had the same problem in both my FC170 and my M38A1. Both were tire balance problems. The M38A1 had off balanced 33 - 12.50 - 15's on it. Shook so hard that i couldnt drive it faster than about 20-25mph (no speedometer).

Check your axle ujoints first. Those can be pretty rusted and help add to bumpsteer aka death wobble. Also, your steering shaft (not the column) could be loose as well. A heavier duty shaft like a borgeson would work well. I've got that and replaced my axle ujoints and no more problems.

There's also a really good article on the home page of this site called curing bump steer. It talks about the relative angle for the tie rod and drag link and increasing the heft of those as well. Very informative.
