Frame repair.

    The Por Patch arrived today, but I only needed one of the two tubes I bought to finish the job tonight. The patch went on easy with a spreader although it sets up fast. Tomorrow, when it drys I will know how much more work the frame will need.

    I still have work to do as I’m not satisfied with the outcome of the first coat of Por-Patch so I will do some more grinding and add another coat.

    I like the Por-Patch it’s a good product but for that particular area (uneven/large holes) I needed the filler to have a bit more consistency.

    :oops: I'm sorry Chuck, yes that's what I used. I have a hard time of keeping track of all the threads around here.

    Looks better in the photos, I can see progress. 8)

    Chuck,

    All I recall about that stuff is it really dries HARD (I think it was the patch). I used a disk sander to take the spots down carefully.

    As I mentioned, I used the RAGE filler from Eastwood also. The Rage dries hard also. It's for filling big stuff then I used a skimmer filler after everything was as good as I could get it.
