Paint Colour

    Ok guys so impressed was I with the identification answers, I have come to the conclusion that you are all knowing about everything CJ, I would like to spray my jeep in a desert colour (see pic attached), can anyone tell me what shade or type of paint I should be using:? or number even bearing in mind I am in the UK, and did they actually use these in the desert:?

    I once painted a 80' CJ5 Ford Tan and was happy with the color,gloss black for all the extras and it came out pretty sharp.The color was close to a military desert tan but had a gloss finish.
    Gillespie Coatings has a 30277 lusterless sand paint and Aervoe paint makes a#977 sand if you want a true military color.

    I vote for "palm beach ivory" in a flat finish....would look like sand and have a period story to tell
