258 and trans problems

    Hi all I am new here and you all have been great help. Now for the problem. I have a 75 cj5 with a bad 258 . I found a 258 from a 80 cj7 that runs good. I have engine trans pulled for the swap but when I mount the trans and toque it on the engine will not turn. The trans is a t14 with d20. If I back off the bolts about a 2 -3 turns engine turns over find. The back of the crankshafts are different the 75 has a larger hole in the center then the 80 could this be the problem? If so how can I fix it? I swaped flywheels also. Any help would be great. Thanks john

    Did you install the correct pilot bushing?

    I had the wrong bushing. Completely sliped my mine about changing that. Thanks for the reminer.
