    Hey fellas!

Sorry I haven't been on in a good long while, I recently had a death in the family.

I'm working on audio in Bella, and wanted the classic touch of an old 8-track player/radio.

Do you know what were the popular dealer options on the mid-70s models?

    Thanks.

Hmmm.... I thought there was only an under-dash AM radio available for the CJ. There may have been FM too, but I don't recall such.

The Wagoneer could be had with a dealer-installed combination FM-CB, but I don't recall any 8-tracks. Cassette may have been available too...

I had a couple of 8-tracks in my '73 CJ-5, and they both were stolen. I mounted a cassette player in the dash of my '75 CJ-6, but there was no dash mounted option then AFAIK (other than the under-dash radio). Both these Jeeps were bought new by me from the dealer.

I have a brand new in the box cassette adapter for an 8 track player as well as a bunch of old 8 track tapes. if your interested, let me know. Would let the lot go for cheap(make my wife happy!).

Sounds good. I'll PM you. I don't think I'll need the adapter, but who knows?
