Hinges for the front of the passenger seat on the early-early Cj-5. Mounts to the front edge of the toolbox.

Aren't those for CJ2A/CJ3A pass. seats? I know the ones for my '56 CJ5 are flat on the bottom, and mount a little farther back on the toolbox. Mine also have two bolt holes.

Here's a photo I took of one of those in an old 2A or 3A...
And a couple shots of the later type in a '62 CJ5...

The ones on the front edge of the toolbox are from a '2A or a '3A, maybe others. The '2A and '3A used very similar front passenger seat frames, but the '3A legs are about 1" longer than the '2A, since they shortened the rear wheelhouses a bit to accomodate the, uh, 'less svelte' users of their products.

How's that for "political correctness" guys? R)
