1977 question

    Hi

    I would like to know the use of the grille that is on the hood of my 1977, because the rubber tube that is attached to this opening goes inside the hood and is cut. Where is this hose supposed to attach ???

    That's the fresh air intake for the heater and defroster. The hose from there that exits under the hood is a drain.
