JMO - lasting 34 years should be heavy duty enough... are new replacements available?

This is a typical problem for the intermediate Jeeps - not a lot of parts support.

I custom built my arm linkage inside the windshield frame with heavy duty rod's.

4wd hardware has most of the wiper parts you need. Look in the 76-86 section they list pre-76 parts there too.

:D your better off than I am... I don't have anything wiper connected except the windshield... Krage has parts for it (jeepdoc.com) but they sell parts individually, too much $$ for me though...

EDIT: :( where did the early 70 parts go :( Krage doesn't seem to have them anymore

Just bought and installed all new linkage from Quadratec. Look in the "hardparts" section of the website.

I hope you can find the parts that you need...

However, you can buy bronze bushings from several sources and maybe rebuild your existing linkage. Start at Small Parts Inc. - I expect these are bronze sintered bearings http://www.smallparts.com/products/descriptions/tbb-sbb-fbb.cfm You can probably use solid bronze bearings too, although I did not look those up. Also try MSC Direct http://www.mscdirect.com which has a big selection but may be expensive for a small order. MSC stocks other useful things like sheet gasket material and heim joints, if you need to make up a minimum order.
