clunk!!

    i have noticed a 'clunking'
    sound especially when going over bumps.
    i have looked under the jeep
    but everything seems to be bolted in place.
    any ideas of what this could be.
    also, it seems worse when it is wet out
    or raining.

    lots of potential sources.
    Exhaust loose. Could be a bad shock, or shock bushing. Bad spring bushings. Loose or bad body mount. Loose ubolt spring plate. Bad trans mount/engine mount.

    I'm sure others will list more potential sources.

    Possibly the exhaust hitting the body.

    Maybe try putting the Jeep up and Jacks and push shove on everything and see if you can find it.

    So many things it could be.
