what tranny is this?

    On the 73, the casting number is 1307065901 and says WG Div. I couldn't find any (ex T-14A) numbers or anything like the 72 has on it. Maybe not a jeep transmission?

    I was just doing some reading online, do I have to look at the top of the transmission for the model?

    The WG stands for Warner Gear, so it's a Borg-Warner. It may say 13-02 (T-14) or 13-07 (T-15). The transmission top may have a tag under one of the bolts, otherwise you're best off to look at the casting numbers in the side of the case.
