Since this came up in another post, I'd thought I'd ask opinions here.
With those with the SkyJacker SoftRide suspension systems, what are you running to control the body roll?
I've thougth about using the air-adjustable RS9000 shocks but my (hardcore buggy driving) buddies say they will just rip the shock mounts off the rig.
has anyone used them or another similar shock in this application? What about a coil-over (overload) style shock?
Another idea I've had is to adapt a TJ front swaybar to the old Jeep. They mount above the frame, in front of the grille (in their stock location). With dis-connects fitted for off-road running, it seems like a good way to go. any comments?

My Jeep doesn't do the hard, technical stuff, just mud, mud bogs and the occasional trail. But those off-camber parts of the trails really have my passengers worried! R)

I find with the stock YJ-SOA that I am getting some good body roll also. I have ordered some RS9000 series adjustable shocks to help combat this on the street. Depending on these results, I might also fab in a front sway bar.

I would think the coil overloads would be rough on shock mounts.

I think you're better off with the TJ disconnect idea. You can get some sick play in the axle, but keep the jeep stable. As to the adaptation, I wouldn't be able to tell you.

If you wanna spend some money, do an antirock swaybar = no having to disconnect.
