Wipers for 75 CJ5

    I've noticed that every thread about wipers says the parts are non-existent for models pre-1976. The wipers don't currently work on my CJ5. I'm just getting started here; is this likely to be something simple, like a blown fuse, or am I probably going to find that I need to replace the motor and other internals?

    I'm reading through the FSM and of course I'll start from the simplest stuff and move forward, but any tips on likely problem areas would be helpful.

    Could be anything.

    Just to be clear *some* parts are available - you can get motors / covers / switches / blades, just not the linkages inside the w/s frame.

    Even the linkages can be replaced with new. You can modify the '76-on linkages (requires welding) or buy these linkages already modified.

    Ok, thanks. Well, it's not the fuse. I replaced that. I guess I'm pulling the motor to see if that's working next. We'll see.
