bumpers

    I'm trying to figure out the measurement differences between early CJ's, intermediates, and wranlgers for bumpers.....I would just go out and measure but i'm currently deployed and that makes it a little hard haha. Anyone know where i can look it up?

    Pretty sure the front bumper is the same for the entire CJ-5 run. Certainly they are the same from 55-75. Don't know how that compares to a Wrangler though.

    Do you mean the rear bumper or the rear crossmember? The crossmember is the same from 55-75 AFAIK. 76-on is different, and I expect Wrangler is different too.

    What measurements in particular?

    I know I retrofitted a TJ bumper onto my CJ-5 pretty easily by just drilling some holes in it.

    both front and rear bumpers... so if i ordered an aftermarket bumper, i could order one for an CJ5 and it'd fit?
