    These were really easy and cheap - and didn't want them to get lost in the SSDutch build thread.

    I just wanted something a little cleaner looking than the zip-tie/hose-clamp/bungee cord approach I've used in the past.

    They're just a metal fire extinguisher mount welded to 2" exhaust clamps (thanks for NickMil for the idea).

    One will mount horizontally and one vertically - on the vertical mount I added a piece of strap steel with a right angle at the bottom to give the fire extinguisher a foot to rest on.

    Cost - $10/ea.

    Just need to sandblast, paint and install.

    I wonder if there are any online (with a decent price) places to get those...
    There's not a truck supply within 100 miles of here...

    Blasted/painted/installed (note that the ball bungee is there to keep the seat belt from flapping - and isn't part of the extinguisher mount):

    This one because of the way I ended up mounting it I did have to add a ball bungee to to keep the end of the fire extinguisher from bouncing a bit. The extinguisher just tucked into this spot so well that I don't mind - it's out of the way but within reach while driving.

    The second picture is where I have mine mounted. It also keeps stuff
    from the storage area under the seat from sliding forward.

    Nice work Mike.

    The way you have your cage built, you have a multitude of places to hang them that would be with in easy reach of any one that needed them.

    Excellent engineering!:hurrican::):coffee:
