    So the rear output on my transfercase is "out of round" meaning the hole where the seal goes. Is this common? Is there an easy fix?

    the rear output housing would have to be damaged.
    replacement only option if what you say is true.

    If that were true it would be undriveable. The bearings and seals would be completely eat up. You may be seeing a seal cover that is fitted on the yoke. Mine actually looks out of round if you are watching that cover, it's not perfectly centered on the yoke (like that from the factory) and gives the appearance of a wobble when it's rotating.:v6:

    alright i guess i will be honest with you guys. the guy i bought my jeep from told me this was the problem. i haven't actually removed the parking brake to check it out i will maybe tonight but for sure sometime this weekend ad see what i can see. the fact that it probably isn't true is encouraging.
