I have to play musical cars. It usually ends up to be last in, first out.

I would have been sniffing around it like a dog at a fire hydrant if I was with them!

Looks like it has YJ or TJ axles with the 4x4.5 bolt pattern and unit bearings. Can't tell if it has leaf springs. It looks like it has some sort of chain drive to a reversed steering box? It's nowhere near as stock as it looks.

I was taking a break from stacking hay bales today, looking at the '69, and thought "Man, that's a great looking Jeep":

Even dirty, it just looks right to me.

    That thing makes me happy.

I agree it looks right. I have a slightly different top that looks like it has a sun visor.
Have you had any trouble with that Can and tire carrier? I have one but am afraid to install it for fear of it bending the corner out.

No issues with the carrier deforming the body. It does rattle on bumps. I've been using rubber feet for walkers and canes as the bump stops and it seems to help and they last a little while.

X2, I think it's those steel wheels, they look like they just belong there. They match the top, perfect color combination.

I'm pretty sure I saw that vehicle in Monterey a few weeks back!?? If not that one, one that was the same color anyway, looked to be in real good condition.
