    Radiator for a '66 Mustang 289.
The biggest issue is that the lower hose bib is too close to center, forcing me to mount the radiator 1 1/2" to the right, and building brackets to move the shroud an inch or so back to the left, basically centering it around the fan again. I couldn't lower the rad. any more, because the lower tank is only about 1/8" above the rivets for the bell crank bracket. For the lower hose I used pieces from two different molded hoses, and a lower hose bib I took out of an old radiator and used for a splice/ elbow. It works fine, finally no leaks, but at this point I consider it a hack job and temporary.

    Strider380 Can I have a zip tie?

I had problems with the lower hose to. I had a radiator shop cut it off and braze a 90 on. Then I used one of those generic flex hoses with the ribs. That way it went around the pulleys and belts with plenty of clearance and a solid, no leak system. It worked great and bolted right in. Even the holes lines up perfect between a Jeep and Mustang.

I give you alot of credit for finding two hoses and a coupler that worked. I tried forever to find a combintation that would clear. I just ended up spening alot of money on hoses that ended up cut into pieces in my trash, a ton of time, and always had leaks.

I couldn't bolt it up to the factory holes because the fan hit the lower hose bib. Even if it was a 90*, it would still hit. That's why I moved the whole thing over 1 1/2".
I did not cut, drill, or modify in any way the grill or fan shroud, so I can return it to normal when I get $$$$$$$$$$$ to have the original re-cored.
