67 Body ???

    I am new here
    Looking at a 67 CJ5, from the pictures, the jeep has no tailgate and the fuel tank is NOT under the drivers seat, is this possible? The owner says there is a V-6 oddfire in it.

    Not if it's a '67 in factory trim. The fuel tank moved to the rear in mid 1970, and 1973 was the first rear for a solid back panel that is not a Renegade model.

    Note that these changes might have been performed as an upgrade to a '67 model though. Jeeps often have lots of modifications.

    What Tim said. The tubs are interchangeable up to 1975.
