Yes, but it will move your shackles to the front of the springs.

There isn't any difference in the springs between M38A1s and CJ-5s as far as width and length go.

    Springs don't change camber....
The can change caster, but that's very easy to remedy if need be.

So is caster something I need to worry about? This jeep is used as a hunting vehicle and never gets above 20 mph.

Would the YJ springs make for a better ride? Is this a good alternative for my situation, or is there an easier and/or better solution to my rough ride?

    Thanks

New BDS springs with your current mounts would help. The kit they sell comes with new u-bolts and shocks. Its all a bolt up deal and you can do it in a afternoon.

I'm very happy with my Explorer Pro-Comp lift. It was a complete kit for just under $400 (shocks, springs and ubolts).

From what I have purchased, and what I've read, Rocky-Road makes some good products. With a little research, I think they are OK. They just do a coupel things different and offer products that others dont.

I believe they got their start making stuff for the Suzuki Samurai. You might ask some of those folks about the quality of the Rocky Road products.
